Seconds Count In An Emergency!

The City of Miramar has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Notification System. CodeRED is a super high-speed telephone dialing system for notifying citizens of emergency conditions. CodeRED allows emergency management personnel to telephone the entire or specifically targeted areas of the City to inform citizens of an emergency situation that requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child or evacuation notices).

CodeRED can dial up to 50,000 phone numbers per hour and delivers a recorded message to a live person or an answering machine, making three attempts to connect to any number.
